The Briar Thomas Conservatory was originally founded in 1999 under the name, The Music from Within Studio. After losing her youngest son, Briar Thomas, founder Amora Bussey, renamed the studio in his honor. Renowned for our passion and devotion to music education, the Briar Thomas Conservatory is one of the largest charities in Puget Sound solely dedicated to bringing music education to all those who are eager to learn.

The Briar Thomas Conservatory offers a scholarship fund dedicated to enriching the lives of every student and their family. 85% of tuition proceeds goes directly towards providing tuition assistance, textbooks, free instruments, repairs, technician costs, transportation assistance, meal assistance, and tutoring services, as well as fully funded field trips into our community. 

To date, the Briar Thomas Scholarship Fund has provided over $100,000 in donations to enrolled families.
